Our Commitments
Prohibition of Child Labor
KNAR verifies that all personnel meet the minimum working age required under applicable law and, where more restrictive, the age for completion of compulsory education. Any engagement of workers below the age of majority is strictly limited to legitimate apprenticeship or educational training permitted by law.
Prohibition of Forced Labor, Modern Slavery, and Human Trafficking
KNAR does not tolerate forced labor, modern slavery, or human trafficking in any form, within its own operations or its supply chain. All labor is engaged exclusively through formal, freely-entered written agreements, with basic terms communicated in a language understood by the worker.
Non-Discrimination
KNAR prohibits discrimination in recruitment, hiring, training, career growth, compensation, transfer, discipline, dismissal, and retirement based on sex, national or ethnic origin, appearance, language, religion, marital status, disability, pregnancy or maternity, political affiliation, gender identity, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, medical condition, or any other protected characteristic. Hiring and promotion are decided solely on qualifications, merit, and business need.
Gender Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion
KNAR promotes gender equality and the inclusion of people from vulnerable groups across its operations, applied consistently in the engagement of personnel, independent consultants, and subcontractors.
Freedom of Association
KNAR respects the right of its personnel to freely associate and engage in labor-related activities in accordance with applicable law.
Fair Treatment and Decent Working Conditions
KNAR offers compensation, working hours, and benefits in accordance with applicable legislation in every jurisdiction where personnel are engaged, and is committed to the fair and dignified treatment of all personnel.
Confidential Grievance Channel
Any KNAR personnel, client, supplier, subcontractor, community member, or other stakeholder may report suspected human rights or labor rights concerns without fear of retaliation. Reports are received and handled by the Compliance Officer under KNAR's Grievance and Whistleblowing Procedure, with receipt acknowledged within five business days and review generally completed within thirty calendar days. KNAR strictly prohibits retaliation against any person who reports a concern in good faith or who cooperates with an investigation.
